Follow these simple steps to safely swap out your toner cartridge and get back to printing in minutes.
Only change toner when it has completely depleted and the machine has come to a stop. Do not replace a toner that still has print remaining.
The following example shows how to replace a Yellow Toner Cartridge — the same process applies to all colours.
Open the front cover of the device.
Turn the empty toner cartridge anti-clockwise and pull it out to remove it.
Remove the new toner cartridge from the box and shake it gently from side to side for a few seconds to distribute the toner evenly.
Push the new toner into the device — the front of the toner is keyed so it will only go in one way.
Turn clockwise to lock it in, then close the front door.
The same principle applies for higher-speed machines.
Open the front cover of the device.
Turn the empty toner cartridge anti-clockwise and pull it out to remove it.
Remove the new toner from the box and shake it gently from side to side for a few seconds.
Push the new toner into the device — the front is keyed so it only fits one way.
Turn clockwise to lock in, then close the front door.
